Opened in 1996, Grafton Street Pub & Grill has been a beloved institution of Harvard Square for almost two decades. This neighborhood hotspot is named after the spirited cobblestone-lined shopping district in Dublin's famed Temple Bar area. Grafton Street deftly combines the warmth and coziness of a traditional neighborhood pub with the aesthetic of a contemporary restaurant. During the summer months, guests can enjoy al fresco dining on Grafton Street's spacious sidewalk patio. The restaurant offers full bar service and boasts a seasonally-changing wine list with over 75 varieties, as well as a robust selection of craft beers from several local breweries.

Fair price for the food you get. Service is a tad slow, but we also sat on the patio, so that's to be expected. The staff was otherwise very friendly. The take away food-wise are the mussels. Incredible. The clam chowder and lobster mac and cheese were also good, but didn't hold a candle to the mussels. Yum.

Great place to get a brunch. Probably other things too, but I can attest to brunch.

This is a classic pub that stays true to its roots--decent food, great variety, and reasonably priced. Always crowded but he buzz is a good thing, welcoming. Service can be a bit slow but everyone is good natured so it is OK. A recent visit included an apology from management which was a nice touch. Definitely worth checking out. And returning!
